I like to take snips of work from time to time. I feel it helps me take a good look back at the production process to see what was there. Sometimes you get a look and loose something along the way, or just want to see what you started with. In this case I wanted to document the beginning of block-out for this particular section of the game. We were very concerned about balancing performance with the look and worked hard to keep up with performance as we went, instead of removing a bunch of stuff at the end and being disappointed with the final look.
