@TMSNewEngland Depression is ALWAYS reversible,in my experience. Neurotransmitter homeostasis is restored by some combination of thyroid replacement,amino acid supplementation,and treatment of hypochlorhydria.

@TMSNewEngland Add dessicated thyroid(Eco Thyroid or Armour Thyroid) to your regimen as discussed by professor of endocrinology Ridha Arem MD in his book "The Thyroid Solution".

@dandelion685 Have a look at the book "The Thyroid Solution" by Ridha Arem MD. We get best results when thyroid levels are optimized. The blood test will usually not pick up hypothyroidism until late.
