More like mutilation than stroggification.

its really an alien race called the strogg come to earth (quake 1) an do some nasty stuff with us an we find out they dont want our resources but rather the corpses of humans to make into their soldiers as shown in this vid. then in quake 2 you drive them from earth, quake 3 has not much to do with the main plot and in quake 4 you attack their homeworld!

dis isnt even how stroggs r made.. dey just startd makin prototype humans. they can apprently react to changes also. in the beginning the invasion is pretty much owning them but then later on that ugly commander guy show sup and you start getting owned, and they start using marines already for their sewage like that heart that pumps the sewage out.

No no no, in Quake 1 you don't even fight Strogg, you fight monster like things inside the slip gate dimension and in Quake 2 you lead the first attack on Stroggos and kill the original Makron, then in Quake 4 you continue the operation as another marine and destroy the Stroggs' Nexus of communications thus making their military completely unorganized.
