So after a mass amount of fan complaints, Bandai realized they were morons for making toys in an 8" scale. Because of this, Bandai decided to reboot the Thundercats Classics line in the 6" scale previously established by the newer modern Thundercats collector's figures. Thankfully, the 6" scale toys continue the trend of having an excellent amount of articulation, as well as a handful of accessories, just like their 8" predecessors. There's no word currently on who else will be released, but for now, we're treated with Lion-O and his arch nemesis, Mumm-Ra. These retail for $14.97 at Walmart and $14.99 at Target.

  • I would rather they just continue the 8" line because If you own the originals they are about the same size.... at least lion-o (original is about 7- 1/2 in.

  • Nice review. Actually, there is another difference between the 6" and 8" other than the wrist articulation. The 8" figure has double balljointed neck articulation. One where the head connects, and another where it connects to the torso. The 6" only has a single balljoint where the head connects. Call it nitpicky, but I do prefer double balljointed neck.

  • Cool review Brian.
