Ice Skating on Tenaya Lake in Yosemite Nat'l Park at sunrise in late December 2011. Filming my skating partner as we skate the length of Tenaya Lake as the winter sun gradually rises.
Ice remained good from mid-December into January with road access which is an unusual treat. Ice on the Sierra lakes is elusive in most years being covered early with the December snows on most lakes. In 2011-2012 people came out of the woodwork to ice skate in the Sierras.
