I usually ended up taking Escad to the final boss fight.

"lol irwin destroy world. me let irwin destroy world because dat wut freedum iz, derp."

Someone willing to turn his blade on those close to him to put a stop to such madness. Someone who will die himself in the process if need be, and simply give calm encouragement to his allies with his last breath.

I can think of no more-suitable ally for when the time comes to put the Goddess herself to rest.

I dont understand why they didn't make this in 3d with the kingdom hearts fighting engine and more customizable main characters 4 players and online play where you can travel to places not included on the game disc that would be beast. I think I'll write square enix

@AudacesKyte if you side with escad, then pick him up at the jungle before battling irwin, he WILL be alive.

this was one of those moments where neither side was evil, and SOMEONE was going to die regardless of what you do... you don't get more emotionally epic than that...

He just wanted to protect his beloved priest,and kick Irwin ass,i can understand him

too bad he died in the process,and we avenged him..i never sided with Daena,what happens if we side with her?

Ah,Lucemia,that was such a cool place.

Square should do a remake of legend of mana...i'm sure they will sell alot.
