Two of my teachers from the Forestry Program at Malaspina University log up there on the QCI's.
I have been there but only on the Commercial Troller I worked on in 1986, and the Dive Boat I worked on in 1989. I wish I could say I have made it back, but not yet...it is on the list though.
I love it up there. Some of the Deer may be smaller, but some of the fish are much bigger too!

That picture with Hungry George, Kenny Richardson, and the third fellow...is that your Dad...looks like him. Also the 600 American, is that the old S66? that Papa John used to operate?

Yes, it is my dear old Dad. The shovel is the S-12, I think. Taken in 1975. That is Papa John at the controls. I have a picture of Ches on the S-10, too.

I have a slide of the S-10 where Ches was backing up and of course one side is disconnected and the driving chain broke. The unit went down the road and rolled over onto its roof. Must have been back about 1970

That would be neat to see. That was on branch five, eh? The mats are still there from when that happened.

My logging Proffesor would have passed you for just making it on logging...but when you put a Madill or two in there he would have given you an A+ for sure now! LOL
