On Wednesday, May 26, 2010, the Birmingham Public Library hosts an exciting sign-up event for all three summer reading programs (children, teens, and adults). This event takes place at the Linn Park fountain, located in between the Central Library and City Hall. From 11:00 am -2:00 p.m., the public may sign themselves or their children up for the host of summer reading programs and activities.

The Chick-Fil-A cow is be on hand, encouraging folks to join us, as well as a balloon sculptor who is making and giving away his creations. Qualified library staff assists everyone with the online registration form and answer any questions concerning the library's summer events.
