@halo3isawsome321 I believe that the definition of "death" has changed. If the brain is still functioning, then you are still alive. A guy can be brain dead and a machine can have his heart beating but he would have no conciseness of whats happening. You could open his eyes and poke them with a needle, he won't respond. If you move his head back and forth and the eyes stay in the same place the whole time, he is brain dead. And that means he is dead.

@halo3isawsome321 yes they did stop the heart, but he wasn't killed because they had a machine that kept blood oxygenated and flowing to the organs.

@halo3isawsome321 The patient was connected to a bypass machine. This looked like a time lapse and there would be no way to do this on a live person without the use of a bypass machine to circulate oxygenated blood to the systems.

"So, just like any piece of meat, we have to put it in the fridge." Brilliant.
-
we uh just put it in the fridge, lmao

@halo3isawesome321 attached the person to an external "heart". It is a machine which performs the functions of a normal heart. It is a very complex machine, but it saves many lives.

@halo3isawsome321 They circulate the blood with a machine, they just stopped his heart, he's very much alive.
