Reinstate it. You say youre proud to be an American. Well prove it. Soldiers aren't just magically going to appear to fight for us.Well take up arms and show that you aren't some pansy that relys on their government to do all the heavy lifting.

absolutely reinstate the draft. you wanna live in this country? then you can fight for this country! we live in a very volatile time in history, i believe a draft will help pull this country together. its time we put america, back in north america. god bless bud boomer.

Absolutely bring back the draft.Clean up our streets of all these uneducated drug using thugs. Get them some morals and a well deserved education, and protect and defend the country at the same time. A real win, win situation.

Ok if they reinstate the draft then older people who avoided Vietnam, Korea, WW2 have to serve too. I'm not going to have a 60 year old draft dodger tell me I have to serve. I am dead set against the draft or national service. It is slavery and destroys the ability of the military to do its job.

Most military people don't want to have to serve with conscripts. They regard themselves as professionals, and having to serve with those who resent being in service would detroy morale.
