just for anyone that has never expirienced or understand what a hurricane is, the man at the start of this post saying he would "weather out" another storm like this deserves a darwin award, clueless to how lucky he was. its estmated 10 people survived ON the pennisula but more than 54 people died (that were registered, not including drifters) so, you have better odds playing russian roulette (literally) than weathering a CAT-2 hurricane on bolivar pennisula.
