Mediterranean Storm (Cecina, Italy) August 2008

The weather was perfect, but then, out of the blue, a wind storm kicked up, bringing thunder, lightning, heavy rain and strong waves to this lovely part of Tuscany in Italy (sea town of Cecina, near Mazzanta and Vada).

One moment the Mediterranean can be as calm as ever and the next crashing waves over-taking the chairs and tables set up orderly along the coast.

The shot in the restaurant was wild- seemed like the waves were going to crash inside!
