Getting the most out of your training requires that you are smart and specific. In this clip, I look at the Two Oceans routes and then introduce very briefly three key aspects to customizing training for Oceans: 1. Simulate the race profile so that you do hills at the end of training runs; 2. Work on leg and core strength to conquer the hills by delaying fatigue; 3. Adjust your mental approach to training - be aware in order to learn the mental discipline required for a great race!
