The annual Easter hang gliding fly-in was on at Tumut this year.
There was aerotowing from Tumut airport for some short cross country flights. We also went off Mt Talbingo, the highest take-off in Australia. Thermals were light because of the mild conditions and the recent rain. The country looks good though!
A number of new pilots took their first thermalling flights at Honeysuckle, Argalong and Corryong.
A great weekend was had by all. Particular thanks go to the Porters for their behind the scenes organization.

BTW, yes I know the purple harness is old and ugly! It's so draggy it's actually a bit like a drogue 'chute! At about 4:56 on the video you'll see that I am not far below the glider in front. By the time we got to the ridge about 7km away I was below ridge height scratching to get up. He came in way above, managed to get up and keep going along the range. I estimate that I lost over 100 ft/km - mostly due to the harness I believe. Time for new sleeker harness!
