Added a little too much NaHO catalyst to the solution trying to attain 4 amps and exceeded the capabilities of my power source.

  • sludge can be the fall out from basic fresh waters contaminents, or from you're electrolite choise, {salt} for instance creates brown water, {sludge} and plates choise too, use stainless steea non magnetic, as non magnetic has no or low carbon content, so no sludge from them {once plates are run in..for a time that is >>..}, foam, wel thats another story, i dont get foam, but use only samll ammounts of lye or potasium hydroxy, no foam problems at all... try it out.

  • Use of the term "foam" in this video is not exactly accurate.

The problem was that with a very rich sodium hydroxide solutions is that the surface tension of the solution is greater than the tiny bubbles ability to escape.

My suggestion is to be careful to avoid over saturating your solution with Sodium Hydroxide.

  • 1:11 is that so. mmm. any other methods on reducing sludge and/or buildup.

  • Probably. :)

All I was saying was that if do not have any oxygen being released, then it is most likely being consumed for "other" purposes, namely sludge production. (i.e. oxidation)

  • There's a fair amount with those (304 s/s) switch plates. 316 stainless is ideal, call your metal fabrication shops usually have some and -50 bucks, also a product called "Rooto" is a 3 1/2 dollar bottle of drain opener = sodium hydrozide, a purer form. Either, or both will increase your results, plus using a scotch-brite pad to gently scuff the surfaces... and... contamination, body oil will block production, produces the brown and dirty solutions. 30 percent more at sames amps, big bubbles.

  • Thank you for your observations and suggestions.

  • have you tried distilled water and bleach? ive found bleach/water mix to make the best production in my tests, also the water stays clearer and the gas is MUCH more potent. just an idea

  • rainmanp7 aka cryogenics :)

man what's that dog doing ? what's it's name hehe...

I like being outside with you making hho. keep uup the great work -> maybe include more animals in the video :)

  • Draino was never used.

After I opened it I identified that it had metal shavings in it and decided that it was not a good candidate as an electrolyte.

thank you very much for pointing that issue out.

  • One note: Draino has aluminum particles, very noticable particles which will produce hho until they desolve, so you start off good but it makes it hot. Hope this helps.
