He didn't care about running up the score. Just get the first and kneel it down the rest of the way

first he slided cuz they prolly wud eve tried to injure him and or push him out of bounds
-
Score TD, game probably over. Slide down inbounds, game definitely over. This is why he is going to the HOF.
-
He realized that passing touchdowns is a better column to be a part of than rushing touchdowns.

@theGel0 no. he slid so he could run the clock down. he could have easily gotten the td.
-
@theGel0 But now look at him... His neck..

Ok, obviously some of you don't know football. Peyton Manning is one of the SMARTEST quarterback's in history maybe even the smartest. He slid to waste time and not give the ball back to the opposing team. He knew the situation, they had no timeouts, one minute left, lets hold onto the ball.

he slid down because he didn't want to get tackled. he took a couple looks behind him and realized he didn't want to risk getting injured so he went down
-
they wanted to waist time so he slided.

if they scored oakland couldve scored, tried an onside kick and scored again possibly. he slid, they had 4 downs, oakland had no timeouts and indy could run the clock out. come on mannn
I can imagine a fantasy owner getting all excited and then ripping his hair out when Peyton slid down haha
