Michael Jordan - A tribute to greatness

Michael Jordan. Michael Jordan. The two much profound words in the sport of basketball today. Ever kid wants to be him, every parent wants his kid to be him. Michael Jordan is widely considered to be the best basketball player ever. He could do it all, pass, shoot, defend, score, lead, and guide. He was a true team player.

Early in his career he was playing against players of the magnitude of Isiah Thomas, Larry Bird, Magic Johnson, Julius Erving, and even Dominque Wilkins. By forcing himself to play well against these dominate figures of the sport, night in and night out he developed the ability to lead his team deep into the playoffs and win championships.

After a few early round defeats by the "Bad boyz" Pistons and future bull Dennis Rodman, Michael Jordan was ready to ascend the throne of greatness. He broke past the Jordan Rules, and made up new moves to finally move his young bulls past the highly favored but older Pistons to win a his first Championship in 1991 against Magic and his Lakers.

His Airness was the Greatest.
