I learned today after interviewing Chris Manecke of the Abecedarians that their bass player came from this band The Klan. Chris mentioned them being on one of the Rodney on the Roq compilation LP's.

wasnt the Klan an offshoot from The Crowd,,,I think that Barry was the drummer and they were from Edison Highschool in Huntington Beach

I just air some bits of the interview I did with Chris Manecke on 88.9 KXLU FM Los Angeles this morning. I don't have CHris recorded talking about John Blake from the Klan but he did mention it when we were setting up the interview. Chris worked at Peer Records back in the early 1980's and use to catch many punk bands like the Klan at Cuckoo's Nest venue (later became the Concert Factory venue). John Blake joined Chris and Kevin Dolan (who was in the Lobsters out of OC) to form Abecedarians

no prob. Btw vicious circle were responsible for creating all the violent followings and chaos. They were like a gang. the HB wolfpac formed because of them.
