i can not believe people are arguing about nirvana and bdb. i would agree if we were comparing bdb to some stupid new pop song, but Nirvana was good, and everybody here already knows how sick bdb is. it's childish to compare groups like that

@TIMOTHYSAARINEN- "Kurt Cobain was a drug addicted train wreck" your point is what? I'm sorry but that doesn't change the fact that Kurt was far more original and creative than Damon. And he didn't blow his head off, if you'd done your research you'd find that he was bleeding out his ear and the side of his head. Head was fully intact. Seriously I love Damon's music, he's very original and creative, but still not Nirvana standard.

@piemakesmelol, Sorry, Damon is a better composer, singer and actual musician than Kurt was. No, he'll never be as popular, or be the cultural icon that Kurt is, but that really doesn't matter. Popularity certainly does not mean superiority. As much as I liked Nirvana, Kurt Cobain was a drug addicted train wreck who literally blew his own head off. I chose not to worship a guy like that. I think Badly Drawn Boy is better, but hey, that's just me.

@TIMOTHYSAARINEN- That's rubbish. I love Badly Drawn Boy, but he doesn't TOUCH the genius of Kurt Cobain and Nirvana. Nirvana defined an entire generation, BDB, to date, hasn't. Just listen to In Utero, BDB hasn't EVER written anything as creative or dark as that album. Once again I really like BDB but they're miles behind Nirvana.
