C.C's codemark is missing. More importantly, C.C wouldn't have let lelouch and suzaku continue with the zero requiem because she still wanted lelouch to give her the ability to die. Conclusion? Lelouch took C.C's code, and became immortal, and C.C chose to live out the rest of her life with her new mortality.
