Delta 101: Sacramento San Joaquin Delta Facts

The Sacramento Delta is a place that will be changing due to bills passed by the California state legislature in November 2009. So that more water can be taken from the Sacramento River to send to other areas of California, changes to open boating areas, fishing areas and other recreation are expected over the next few years. Enjoy the freedom of the Delta now for it will be gone in a few years.

We need to wake up and stop this action before it's to late, if it's not already. Our governor is hell bent on getting his southern california buddies more water. If you don't have enough water in southern california stop handing out building permits. Your done!  This is being disguised as a way to save the delta. How on earth can you save the Delta by taking the water out of it? Not only will it drain the Delta it will drain the reservoirs feeding the rivers that make up the delta.
