  • replaced the whole stem for 2 knob shower stall but now the cold knob does not work properly. if tighten it slightly hot water shoots real hot but if loosen the cold knob the water shoots real cold...what did i do or did not do? house was built in late 60's

  • Like how you showed all gaskets

  • @ocean3rdcoast Funny, i thought the exact same thing. Also, home depot and lowes sale a socket kit for these. Only $15.00 and works on many other products.

  • You are an expert bro,but can you please go easy .I am so green at this .

I wish that l know what you know .

  • you're using the channel-locks backwards at 2:36

  • Few things to add to this video. All faucets are different and should be broken down. The last washer he mentioned when he took off the packing nut is an o-ring.Always check the seat of the faucet that is located in the wall that can be seen when the cartridge is removed.Take a flashlight and feel it with your finger. If it is rough;get an allen wrench or faucet wrench and replace the seat. This will allow you a maintenance free faucet for years.Best to buy a new cartridge and seat.g.l.
