Final Fantasy 12 - progress on my level 99 dash

Reaching level 99 at the earliest possible point in the game's story is my goal and this video explains what I've been up to for level 64, and the fastest possible experience-gaining here (an average of about 2900-3100 experience per minute, about 180,000 an hour). At this point in the story, Vaan is the only character you can play. You don't have access to gambits or the party menu. Still, level 64 is way, way out there, and it only takes an hour to gain a whole level at this point. I estimate that level 98 to 99 will need about 2 1/2 hours to accomplish. I estimate that I'll reach my goal at about 110 hours of play. In my first play, I first got Penelo at level 35, then got Balthier and Fran at level 55 or 56. This, obviously, is considerably further. As a side note, did you know that, by having having Vaan level 99 before getting anyone else (guests for sure), they'll have a seemingly impossible to reach 99,999,999 EXP - try doing that within only 120 hours of play! Now, imagine what boss fights would be like at level 99.... Expect to see videos of the results of this, and the effects it has.

There are future updates in store for that guide, of which improves the procedure and contains more corrections. It'll be updated once I return to FF12. With the update will almost certainly come an update to these heavily-out-of-date videos.

I can tell you haven't read my GameFAQs powerleveling guide. I don't have a Gameshark or the like for the PS2. I've earned all this through a lot of patience.

if you cant get the rod, you can try to drop of dastian the flame staff, atck 50, but to get the burning bow is very hardly (im not good with the quickenngs) =) , jeje salutes =)

The rod has a 22.5% chance of being obtained per attempt. That's very good when you think about it. The burning bow has just 1% per attempt - 76 attempts of the burning bow is about that of 3 attempts at the rod.
