Yes,I was reffering to applied mathematics.Vector fields are difficult,but of course there are more difficult subjects:P.D.E.,numerical methods,finite element theory etc.

:) You haven't seen much of mathematics then :D Check out some of the more advanced treatments of mathematics, pure mathematics, number theory, the Riemann Hypothesis, the Poincare conjecture, advanced combinatorics, harmonic analysis, real analysis, advanced partial differential equations, modular forms, etc :) There's many subjects far beyond vector calculus :D
