15, and while I wish it wasn't so, I love the trackpoint. It's an irritating little PITA, but I just can't fall into the habit of using the touchpad.

when you close it the paint tends to scratch off because there's no rubber spacers yeah it tends my entire school has scratched up laptops because of that one flaw but they are very durable I seen students drop them over and over and still function

yes, I too will only buy a laptop with a trackpoint.

my school got these to replace the aging dell 600ms and what they do to they new ones THE FUCK EM UP with their build of xp thats only 32 bit but the actual computer is 64 bit so I swaped the hard drives and put win7 on it and this thing is well a great laptop just 1 complaint the intergrated graphics are comparible to a geforce 5200 from 2003 but @ least you can play half life 2 and CSS on no lag maps

if you are planing on buying this DON'T BUY IT...with vista wait till win7 comes out or with xp

looks like a duplicate of lenovo.

it's not dell's laptop (which i'm pretty much stuck with buying cuz of the price), but the review is quite lacking, he seems like a dell trainee, just reading off what's on the website for the basic "what's on the laptop", and I stress the word Basic.

why? I'm thinking of getting one and am getting mixed reviews.
I'm only 16 and I love the trackpoint. I wouldn't buy a laptop if it didn't come with one.

I enjoy having both the trackpoint and touchpad. But personally, I find the trackpoint wayy more convenient to use. It just takes like 5 minutes to get used to.
