This is online so the young vaulters in the video can look at some of their jumps and learn from them. Please don't make any nasty comments, they are just starting out with very little coaching.

  • ABSOLUTLY TERRIBLE!

There are so many mistakes, I wont even name them... Pitifull

  • I believe you missed the beginner in the title. You have to fix the biggest problem first. You won't inspire many people to get better if you call them absolutly terrible. I'm sure the first day you picked up a pole it wasn't the symphony of motion that it is now. I know I wasn't.

  • They all need to work on their plants, don't collapse the left arm and drive with the knee.

  • For beginners, they r prettty good!! I am just starting on pole vault and this stuff is harder then it looks. Yes, even for someone who has been in Tae Kwon Do for 4 years. Stop hatin!

  • Vault is harder than it looks.

  • This is my first year pole vaulting, I can muscle my way up 8', but i have to use form from then on, and I don't have very good form yet, when my coach tells me to do something, I'll do it, but forget to do the other things, i'm working on it. Love PV though!

  • Wtf

  • dont put videos on youtube until you are good!!!!!!!

  • those kids are pretty gay

  • A few very common mistakes that young vaulters have are bending their left arm when planting the pole, and their right hand slides down the pole. The only way to fix your bent arm is by practicing, and a good way to stop your hands from sliding is by putting new tape around the pole.

  • im a freshman and i bearly cleared 6'6. and now in two days of practice i can clear 8 and hope to get 9 by this saturday
