  • Such a charming couple they made in Spartacus. RIP Jean.

  • she is still beautiful here

  • @lenal1l I really don't know but I assume. Maybe she did use her agents and friends to help her win an Oscar in 1969 for The Happy Ending or to get a nomination during the height of her fame (1953 - 1963) which she did not get.

  • @astralagosto how do u know she chose not to?

  • These people look so dead. I wonder why them came? So that one day, when it's their turn, someone will show up. . . Sad to see so many that have passed on. And Nickelson being so disrespectful, wearing sun glasses. Typical. Have they had a dinner for him yet?

  • @kevinastraw and what about lust for life?....

  • For me Douglas's best film was Paths of Glory (1957).

  • is it just me or does she look like a white version of Yoko Ono

  • Jean was indeed much more beautiful than Elizabeth Taylor. Should have gotten more recognition than Ms. Taylor. Taylor had the agents and friends in Hollywood that kept her famous. Jean had agents and friends in Hollywood that could have helped sustain her fame but she was humble and probably did not want to do all hob-knobbing one has to do to get an award. I think she should have been given a Special Oscar for her lifetime of work, but alas it was not to be.
