Roy was with the Sun label 1956-58. He had 2 or 3 regional hits, and the first, Ooby Dooby, charted #59 nationally. Apparently there were many unreleased recordings.
In 1958-59 RCA gave him a try, but no hits. Then with Monument, after a couple tries he came thru.

1) Chicken-Hearted - 1958 Sun single. Love it.
2) Almost Eighteen - RCA 1959 single. self-written.
3) A True Love Goodbye - Sun unissued
4) Sweet and Innocent - RCA 1958 single. Later done by Clyde McPhatter on the Amy label, but most notably by Donny Osmond in the 70s. Writers Sherrill and Hall.
