Bhante Vimalaramsi chose Burma when he first practiced meditation because he wanted to do the Mahasi Vipassana method. Later he went to Thailand and Sri Lanka. He now lives and is abbot of the Dhammasukha Meditation Center, Missouri, USA. Go to the dhammasukha for more information.
