* El entrenador de fútbol argentino Diego Simeone utilizó esta película para motivar a los jugadores de Estudiantes de La Plata previo a disputar el clásico de la ciudad contra Gimnasia y Esgrima. Ese partido lo ganó Estudiantes por 7 a 0, y posteriormente se consagraría campeón del torneo argentino.
* El entrenador de fútbol español Quique Sánchez Flores utilizó ésta película para motivar a los jugadores del Atlético de Madrid antes de jugar la final de la Copa de la UEFA frente al Fulham, en la que ganaron los españoles por 2 a 1

    con todo el respeto, Al Pacino es uno de los actores más destacados en la historia del cine, títulos como Scarface, Serpico, Tarde de perros, El Padrino, Perfume de Mujer , y una decena más de películas consideradas obras de arte, demuestran que su talento es por mucho incomparable, si es no es sobreactuar, pues no se que carajos es la actuación ni el cine...
