One of Microsoft's partners at CeBIT Germany 2009 showed this technology setup, which is actually based on Johnny Chung Lee's IR head tracking, but instead of IR headgear there is a IR light setup with projects onto your hand. Resulting in a camera picking this up and allowing you to control the system by 'gesture'. In a conversation with the guy at the stand he told us that apple actually has the rights to this technology atm.

Altought the stand holder handled the technology with ease, the visitors didn't. Some accuricy tweeking might be needed.
