All footage was shot while I was at Chuckwalla Valley Raceway over 3 days. Most footage was shot with a GoPro HD and a few shots with my Panasonic GH1 (awesome camera!).
I tried to capture the experience of a track day in this video. Chuckwalla is a relatively new track, it's very flowing with some nice elevations changes! This track day was hosted by SOCAL Track Days (http://www.socaltrackdays.com). I love doing track days with SOCAL because of the no session format! I definitely prefer it over the standard 3 groups, 15 minutes on, 45 off format.
Here is a little breakdown on the video.
0:13 Riders meeting with Cliff
0:45 Time to hit the track
1:27 I blow a turn 4! Thankfully Chuckwalla has HUGE runoff areas!
1:36 Turn 13, a very fast 10 degree banked sweeper (took me awhile before I could get my knee down on 13).
2:22 I shot this scene with my GH1 (it's actually 3 different riders edited to look like one).
2:35 A freak sandstorm! It was so bad they had to cancel the event but the guys at SOCAL were cool and gave everyone a make up day! Once the weeds grow back around the track I doubt this will happen again.

Thanks for watching and as always, comments welcome!
is the begining filmed with the panasonic ?

@silistylefly The riders meeting was shot with the GH1, the generator was drowning out the audio so I tried to EQ it out the best I could. The mic on the GH1 is OK and usually adequate. But if audio is a concern I recommend buying a "Zoom H2" or the "Rode VideoMic".

That track is really flat lol. But looks like a new track or at least surface.

@Pittimus84 Actually there are two nice elevation changes on the track and a cool 11 degree banked corner. The GoPro’s wide angel lens flattens everything out. And yes the track is relatively new, the surface very smooth, my tires were wearing extremely well. Unlike the Pahrump track that shreds my tires like crazy.
