Not only am I an American, I used to be a ditto head and a Reaganite. Reagan could have and should have been impeached over Iran--Contra. Reagan was caught red-handed LYING about it. Reagan wasn't even that popular while President; his popularity numbers weren't anything special. Reagan also nearly TRIPLED the national debt. And this from a fiscal conservative!!?? Reagan was a disgraceful President who should have been impeached. Why? Where do we start! 189 Marines killed in Beirut,1989. then Reagan fled Lebanon. 1987: the US Stock Market crash. Tied for second place in all time, one day drops. Tax increases: Reagan passed THE biggest single tax increase in HISTORY. Nice fiscal conservative! FIVE Reagan cabinet members who were indicted and had to be pardoned. Only people blind to the ACTUAL Reagan record think he was a great President.
