Enter The Chaos Dimension A UMVC3 Shuma Gorath Combo Montage

This is my first combo video. I'm new to video editing, so forgive my poor editing skills lol. I'd like to give credit to and thank ~CrossdominatriX5 for his awesome Shuma wallpaper from deviant art. So shout outs to ~CrossdominatiX5. =) Anyways I drew a lot of inspiration from Desk and UGG-SIN2's Shuma combo video, a lot of my combos look similar, but I wanted to show people something that Shuma could do in vanilla and show of some of his new abilities like comboing after Devitalization and using the knockdown from his air S. Also all combos with X-factor are only level 1. I feel like there isn't that many Shuma videos out on youtube, so I wanted to try and make a combo video just for Shuma.

hypnawtik i have been playing shuma since he came out, and im still having trouble charging mystic stares and rays during combos, somtimes when i do a crouching move and try to go into stare, it goes into ray again, any tips or tech making the charging process easier?

@nothingfaceartPLUS If you're trying to do Mystic Stare and you end up doing a Mystic Ray you're probably holding down back (1) when you charge and then hitting up forward (7) which is causing you to Mystic Ray. You can hold down back (1) to charge for both Ray and Stare and go down forward (3) to use Stare. Because you're still holding down while charging you can still keep your charge with Ray.

@nothingfaceartPLUS The easiest way to charge Shuma's moves is off of a c.H j.M j.H j.Up H. If you delay the j.M j.H and j. Up H you keep your opponent a little higher in the air. This gives you a little more time to charge for Stare and Ray so at after the J. M H Up H you would land c.M c.H Mystic Stare. Hope this helps.

wow i thought i was beasty with shuma til i saw this, totally underlooked character and so fun to play with. My main team is vergil, shuma and dante/hsien ko. Awesome video thanks, knew shuma was awesome but never knew he had this much potential, makes me want to get even better with him.

@iDidntTypeThis Np glad you liked the video and you wanna get better with Shuma. =) Shuma is under looked and its up to people like use show the world how awesome he is lol. Btw Sick team! Sparda Bros. and Shuma Gorath!! One of my teams is Vergil/Doom/Shuma. Vergil/Shuma have great synergy. Mystic Ray + Vergil = Mix up for days! =)

do any of these combos work mid screen ? like it works if shuma starts with his back to the wall

@klyzTV If you're starting with your back to the wall only combo @ 0:51 will work because having Mystic Stare blow up in the air allows you combo Hyper Mystic Smash. Most combos require you to be midscreen close to corner. I'll be uploading some stuff to help get your opponent to the corner.

@shrek187 No problem! I'm glad this video is gonna help out your Shuma gameplay. We need more Shuma players lol! Keep practicing and these combos will become easy. They're all practical except combo 13 because hit stun makes the combo really strict, but everything else can work with just practice. I'll be working on more videos for Shuma in future so keep an eye out for it. ;)

I've repped Shuma since his release and I'm happy to see someone use him correctly. He's really devastating if used in the right hands, he can do an assist-less 1mil in the corner with two meters. I use Wesker and Dorm with him so he can combo easier and combo off of throws midscreen properly.
