Christmas Eve Morningstar Choir 2009

The Christmas Choir sings a medley of traditional Christmas songs at the Christmas Eve service. Pastor Jack Abeelen is senior pastor at Morningstar Christian Chapel in Whittier, California.

The celebration of Christmas for us this night is the acknowledgement with great joy that the promises of God spanning some 4000 years through the Old Testament have come to pass, just as He said. So tonight we look back to the glorious day when that Promised Child was born and that Son was given, when God fulfilled His promise by coming to provide for us a salvation that was out fo our reach due to sin and death. Jesus, God become man, was born in a manger and His life would be given for ours.
