I've seen the film before, but just sat and watched it again (Saturday morning) meaning only to check if it was the film I was thinking of..

@globalman In spite of the film and Cary Grant being the epitome of Hollywood and Hollywood actors, Cary Grant was born in Bristol, England (Theres a statue of him erected in millenium square, Bristol) and he lived here for the first 16 years of his life. He was voted, after Humphrey Bogart, as the 2nd greatest actor in one survey.

Thank you hardly expresses the gratitude for you posting this film. I am further warmed by the many comments as this film which I have loved more than 55 years is still recognised and enjoyed. I am neither religious nor very believe in any particular religion. I do have an odd faith as I did as a lad...a faith in goodness, love and hope for peace. This film though Glamorous Hollywood fiction with a most Brilliant cast, still captures that spirit that I think touches hearts. Happy Christmas
