Jesus, 50,000 views. Look what happens when I leave a video up then forget about it for a couple of years. I find it hard to rewatch or listen to any performance I do, mostly because I have the same criticism that my commenters have been so kind to point out /a small, small but of sarcasm. In my own defense, this was at the end of a long solo concert which I thought went pretty swimmingly, as a consequence, I was high as a kite on performance endorphins by the time it came to this encore. That's where the absurdly fast tempo comes from. I also agree that much of the beauty in the original comes from the gentle interplay between the beat and the band, but you try and both set and follow the beat on the same instrument. Some things have to change if you don't have a backing band. And as to the person who says I have the wrong chords, I will defend them to my death.

I think you've already heard this, but your piano playing is good and your voice is smooth, but the low key of singing would match a lot better with tempo much, much slower. Read the lyrics, it's a SAD song. Brandy meets a man that she connects with and then he tells her he won't stay. And then you end with a keyboard roll!! I think you should do this one again, slower, and repost it here. It has a lot of potential.
