Got mixed feelings about this..i like seeing old movies looking all jacked up like this..but it feels wrong somehow, that they're tinkering with it. Its not the "same" movie they made in 75..its the same thing as lucas changing shit in star wars but this one is done properly.

In recent years I have seen jaws in local independent theaters near me but no e of the prints were very good and the sound was bad too. I hope to see a new print of it in theaters because I really enjoy seeing it with an audience . The blu ray looks and sounds great

Blu-ray was made for old movies.The Thing,The warriors.Alien.The Wild Bunch.Bladerunner....I could go on forever.You can watch a film you seen a hundred times and its a different experience in 1080p.

I got this yesterday, the picture looks gorgeous and the sound is great. It blows away the 25th anniversary DVD I had in terms of how clean the print is.
