I try to nail out about ten of these, ten normal, and ten wide grip between classes at college. Seven times a day, you'd be amazed how much progress you can make. Add five or so reps a week. Does wonders for waking you up, too.

@Catfayse You probably focused on one muscle group for too long. You have to do wide, normal, and diamond to balance everything. Planks help to maintain your core long enough to do proper form effectively.
Look for balance, mate. Focusing on one thing for too long will kill you in the long run.

If you want to do a real diamond push up you have to touch your nose inbetween your fingers. this is the easy way

Now that I've been doing a lot of diamond pushups (20-40), whenever I do wide grip pushups (regular pushups) I can only do like 5. What happened? :o

Ok, I tried it, I only did 2 diamond pushups and it killed my shoulders already
