Imagine, if you can, a world without nurses. A healthcare system so debilitated it's unrecognizable. When nurses disappear so does patient safety. Insist on safe nurse staffing levels. Because it's our registered nurses who put the care in healthcare.

  • Excellent Ad! I wish there were more adds like this, advocating for better staff to patient ratios! Thanks for sharing this!

  • This is so obvious it's a shame to have to remind people. Thanks for your work!

  • Ok you arrogant self centered noobs. As an RN I am completly offended by those other so called RN's who criticize and look down upon LPN's and CNA's. Lets do away with them and see what you think then. YOU will have to do your assessments, vitals, ADL's, ambulation, transfers, bathing, mopping, stocking, cleaning, filing, specimen collection, linen changes, take out the waste, clean the fluids, and on and on by YOURSELF. With out CNA's especially we can not do our jobs effectively. Get over it

  • @fishers138 Hey, if you're so BIG AND BAD, LPN, then put your money where your mouth is and go get your RN degree, OK? I will be RUNNING CIRCLES AROUND YOU WHILE I'M WAITING. O, BTW, will be happy to report that you are over stepping the bounds of your licensure and are insubordinate, to boot. Don't mess with the Real Nurses!

  • im an assistant in nurse been doing it for 26 years we dont get reckonised yet we work everywhere in aged care hospitals and home care services and we get paid poorly

  • @fishers138

I am an LPN and I am damn proud of it! I saved my grandfather's life in the hospital from a post-op complication.

  • Não me vejo em outra profissão :]

  • We need to people to understand what the roles and responsibilities of a registered nurse means to the health care system and the impact how less unsafe practice to a nurse. It impacts on the health of a patient by increasing their stay in the hospital because a patient may not get the right skill at the right time and this is not safe care.

  • ha, we put the CARE in healthcare... so cheezy yet so TRUE!
