The bare facts: On July 2. 2003 Martin Schulz, Member of the European Parliament for the german SPD, deplores very outrageous outspoken comments on immigration by Italian Reforms Minister Umberto Bossi and refers to an alleged conflict of interest between the political role of mr. Berlusconi, at that time President of Eu Council of Ministers, and his extensive media empire. Mr. Schulz reasonably asks mr. Berlusconi to take severe measures against mr. Bossi and Berlusconi's irregular situation. The Premier of Italy reacts as he usually does in his land.

Subtitle synchronization: very good.
Other films are not so, what leads many Italians into thinking that maybe mr. Schulz offended mr. Berlusconi!

  • is the guy in the back around 2:14 saying to him GO TO HELL GO TO HELL

    I LOVE HIM!!!

  • :-) Non dice "go to hell / go to hell", ma "unerhört, unerhört", che significa "inaudito, inaudito".

No comment. :-(

  • cattivoo cattivo...weeeee weeeeee weeeee....lo dico a mangano

  • As an American (outside of the English speaking countries) Italy has always been a favorite of mine.

Which leads to my question, how do the Italian people feel about the EU? Do they feel like it is a threat to their freedoms and culture? Or are you guys looking forward to becoming an economic superpower on par with the U.S.?

Let us say that joining the EU was put up to a vote from the people, what do you think the vote would be? I'm curious.

Love from the U.S. (I know you probably hate us)

  • What a paper tiger. At least Mussolini almost destroyed the mafia rather than joined them :))))

  • Berlusconi is a modern dictator and the boss of P2 - that alone should disqualify him to even enter the European Parliament.

    Shame on you!

Yeah he has mediaset, now he also controls 2 news programs of RAI, and by so doing he has 5 news programs, then he has newspapers and the problem here in Italy is that NOBODY USES INTERNET to develop a political culture...horrible and sad...shame on you berlusconi!
