Kidnapped squirrel monkey Banana-Sam was found on Saturday, roughly 40 hours after he went missing from the San Francisco Zoo. It is believed that two thieves cut the chain on a perimeter fence after the zoo closed on Thursday to enter the monkey enclosure then cut two holes into the mesh of the squirrel monkey exhibit and grabbed Banana-Sam. The 17-year-old squirrel monkey was found Saturday evening at Stern Grove, a park about a mile from the zoo. Source: San Francisco Zoo Chronicle
