4 students get an "A" for a class

4 students get a "C" for a class

The "A" students worked hard, showed leadership, and completed all work on time

The "C" students only gave half effort and waited for others to do their work for them.

To be fair, teachers took 1 letter grade from the "A" students and gave it to the "C" students so they all got "B"s does this seem fair? The students who worked hard had to give up their "A"s to people who mooch off of others and lack effort. Say
