Skyrim Episode 2: THE BUTTONS!? - Embershard Mine [HD] [スカイリム] [英語]

Honestly, the controls aren't that bad, but the hotkey system is not very intuitive. As much as it annoys me when I compare DkS and Skyrim, Bethesda needs to take some notes from From Soft on this one. Right pad, right hand swap, Left pad, left hand swap. So easy to use.

ANYway, enough bitching. I'm starting to get the hang of it anyway. Also, to be fair, this video also highlights some of the things that Skyrim does well... exploration and side quests. When I jump in the river in Skyrim, I don't mysteriously die. "If this was Dark Souls, I WOULD BE DEAD!" Skyrim has its own strengths. But the controls aren't one of them :P

I also love the little political concerns... like the advisor worried about sending troops to aid Riverwood due to the possibility of instigating hostilities with the neighboring areas.

In this video, I spend most of my time getting my bearings in Riverwood. I start the Golden Claw sidequest around 6:30, but I'll complete it next time.

Around 12:20 I head to the Stones of Power (or w/e they're called).

At 14:00, I head into the Embershard Mine for ye olde loots.

The final part of the video ( 45:00 ish) shows my first journey to Whiterun. On the way, we encounter some bros harassing a lady and we also cook a Giant.

if skyrim's combat system was better I would like that game as much as I like dark souls, it feels like I am just hitting through the enemies, and not hitting them

Also, dont worry about missing stuff. The world of Skyrim is much too big to worry about that. There are many different ways to play and everyone has their own style of play.

Skyrim is a very easy game...until you try going into dwarven ruins for example at an early level lol. The game is a little too easy which is one of my complaints but it is still a very fun game.

@arnoldlayne111 That was the first fix I tried. It didn't work. Patching didn't work. I tried it on another system, and it still didn't work. I gave it to a friend, and it didn't work for him either.

The fixes solved the problems for a lot of people, but they didn't help me at all.

@Dashiznit1997 try both...dark souls combat may spoil u, and wen u get to skyrim, itll feel really clunky, but if ur all for running around exploring a world, then id go with skyrim.

@EpicNameBro on the ps3 you can solve the crashing problem by disabling the autosave function, you just have to remember to save :)

@SuperFreezman I gave it to a friend, who experienced the same problem I did. I don't know if there was a manufacturing error with that disc or what, but the problem occurred on 3 different PS3's.

As for replacing it- no. Bethesda will never get any more money from me. In fact, I feel like they owe me.
