  • I'd rather watch these promos that take me on a trip down memory lane than the current mundane borefest product on television now. This was when wrestlers could actually draw mega reaction and heat from the fans during promos.

  • Honky Tonk Man is and will always be the greatest Intercontinental Champion of all time.

  • Brother Love was ahead of the Tannin game!

  • Hey Honky Tonk... how about coming back for one night only, and hitting that criminal immigrant beaner in the head with a guitar! Get rid of mysterio for good.

  • Don Cornelius is on record saying that Rhythm and Blues was right up there with Commodores and Stevie Wonder. I agree.

  • I saw the honky tonk man in gloucester massachusetts in had a poloroaid picture.

  • "They will soon be appearing on MTV, American Bandstand, and Soul Train!!!"

I damn near fell out of my seat when Brother Love said "Soul Train" lol!

    CLASSIC CLIP!!!

  • OMG! I totally forgot about the bush wackers..lol

  • I don't think ive ever seen a wrestler who had has much hate and heat as Honky did, he was probably the greatest heel of all time.

  • Soul Train? Lmao!!

  • @hgonz14 Greg "The Hammer" Valentine and The Honky Tonk Man's tag team Rhythm and Blues didn't last very long when Greg and Honky turned on each other.

As for Greg Valentine, you could tell that he didn't like the gimmick of dying his hair black, wearing tights that said "Only The Lonely", and carrying a guitar to look like Roy Orbison. Greg "The Hammer" Valentine was happier breaking the legs on his opponents than breaking guitars on the opponents' heads.

  • this is when wrestling was the sh*t! the great old days when wrestling was good. it's all bullsh*t now!
