Anything Goes is Herb Alpert and Lani Halls live collection of beautifully reinterpreted standards. This is the first time that the celebrated duo, who recently signed to the Concord Jazz label, has recorded a complete album together and is Alperts first new CD in 10 years. A love letter to each other and a tribute to their enduring personal and professional relationship.

Love you two together,,,, I'm a comeback trumpet player that got much inspiration from the days of The Tijauna Brass.. Rise is one of my all time favorite songs to play.. Nice to see you still doing your passion.

So nice to see them still so close and working well together. AND -- at least as far as I can tell -- they've each become better over the years. LH's voice is fuller and HA's trumpeting has become more subtle and nuanced. God bless 'em both.

@Shapinaot It's good to know that you can appreciate other forms of great music. I've been a Herb Alpert fan since the days of the Tijuana Brass, and he has always been a classy guy through the years. And I'm an old
school R & B/Jazz person, but it's always good to appreciate other musical genres too. Herb and Lani will always make wonderful music and I hope that someday that you will see them in concert. I'm sure that you would enjoy it.

wow, i just discovered Lani Hall. I first saw the Rise video with her in it. I was like Wow, who is this pretty lady? I have been listening to her and Herb on Youtube for a week now and just fell in love with her voice and energy she brings to the stage. I would not mind seeing her in concert with Herb sometime soon. I am a classic rock and metal person, but can appreciate other music as well. Thank you Lani and Herb.
