I honestly feel for Rivers when I listen to this album. Not so much because I can relate to it, anyone can depending on their mood, but more because he poured his heart out onto this album and people shat all over it and disregarded as mere self-deprecation when it was someone having the balls to come out and so bluntly express how juvenile and animallistic (?) people think when they're just looking for connection. Clearly it payed off for him years later, but back then it had to be rough.
