hate the rule... not the call

Man this was horrible. It was amazing to see how this went viral all over the country within minutes and even Charles Barkley was saying how terrible the call was.
PAC10 has the worse refs.
I heard Locker hit the Space Station when he threw this ball.

@clayhater Wow, you are one huge dumbass. Just what I'd expect from a UW fan (or grad, for that matter).

So glad Perkins is gone. Seemed like he was 20 ft awayfrom the kickholder and took forever just to get started. That kick shouldn't have been blocked and any other kicker in the country could've made it. This was a non issue. Don't know why he gets the slack. Folk has been a breathe of fresh air. Good teams have good kickers.

Have you seen BYU's honor code? Its unbelievable. Caffeine is grounds for expulsion. Being such a rule crazy school would lead to their fans following and believing in the rule book as written no matter what. What a miserable way to live. No concept of Reality at BYU.
Any real football fan would agree that UW got robbed.

The player who ''spiked'' the ball was Austin Collie, and I wouldn't call it spiking the ball, watch the tape again bro, you'll see he casually put the ball between his legs, so you don't have a point there. And here's the real point I think MOST BYU fans make about Jake lockers ball throwing........Who cares!!! WE BLOCKED THE EXTRA POINT!!!!!!!! thats what lost the game!!!

Greg Wrubell would kick you ass

Greg Wrubell is the ultimate weenie. He has no business calling sports.

My reply was meant to be Montlake Jake, maybe I clicked the wrong link... How do you Y haters love your beloved PAC 10 now??? 0-4 vs the MWC this weekend, hysterical!!!!
Hilarious -- it seems like most of you in denial that the right call would have been a no call are the BYU fans.
Why not also post the video of BYU's first TD celebration where BYU player spikes the ball on to the ground?
Was there a call -- no.
Was there a complaint -- no.
Then what gives -- what's with the double standard being displayed by the BYU fans?

If I can find a clip of that TD I will post it. If he failed to leave the ball at the spot of the dead ball or give it to an official I would support an unsportsmanlike penalty in that situation.

Your word for word comment is just as goofy as in the post. Did you also disagree with the Y being called for the same penalty on the ensuing play? The one player only ran about 40 yards onto the field, I think you have to touch the other sideline 55 yards away from your own player's box to get that, I can't believe they called that! Man I am bummmed out over that one, wink wink. The officiating was biased at best until the last 3 plays of the game!

Huh? I believe BYU was fairly flagged for unsportsmanlike conduct for leaving the player box. Just as I believe Locker was fairly flagged for unsportsmanlike conduct for launching the ball into close-earth orbit.
