My fabrication project for sculpture class this quarter. Literally blood sweat and tears. If I don't get an A on this project, I swear, I'll cry. ;)
The wings work on a counterbalance system. A weight made of 20 zinc/steel washers, Sculpy and epoxy putty scuplted into a stylized heart and attached with elastic (heartstrings) was the most important part of the puppet.
Inspired by Julie Taymor and a possible continuation of my Dreme Field Guide. http://rebmakash.deviantart.com/art/The-Dreme-Field-Guide-19581655
I love it! Magical.

It's cool! I'd love to see it against a black background. Did you get an A+?

Wow, very cool! =D Awesome job, Reb! Are you going to give it skin and feathers, or just leave it like that? (It would make sense if you left it that way, of course; I've seen some of the other creatures in your Dreme guide, I think. ^^) Awesome job! =D
