Gilmore Girls - Me and My Gang (Preview)

I started work on this video quite a while ago, probably about two or three months ago. I kinda hit a wall and I decided to finally upload what I have in hopes of getting some ideas on it. I want it to be a cast video to include as many characters as possible and all seven seasons.

I included the lyrics of the rest of the song. If you can think of a good clip for it please let me know. I'd like each "me and my gang" to be of a character with some of their friends. I didn't do the full song in this preview because it just repeats but I think you can get the idea. I'm also not sure what to do at the "na na na" parts. I'm thinking either scenes of characters running into things/falling down or dance scenes. Or perhaps a combination of both.

Anyways, I'm open to all suggestions. I'd really love to finish this one!

This is absolutely INSPIRED!!! Did you/will you ever finish it? Because, let me say...it had me laughing out loud and clapping along...of course, it helps that I love the song, and had thought it would be ideal for a GG cast video, but what you did with the Hep Alien clips...just WOW. All of it! your execution is just TOO AWESOME!!! Hope to see the finished product someday. LOVED the "hippies, gypsies, freaks and geeks!!! ROFL!!!

@cntrygrl85 :D Thrilled to hear it! Can't stop grinning at the prospect, actually. I don't know why this one triggers SO MANY ideas in my head. Don't even know where you'd fit them, but the clips of Lorelai's "pow!" raising her arm in victory (pretty sure it's when Luke agrees to order her boots from a catalog), her frantic pointing at Nicole using the cellphone in the diner, and Lorelai and Rory jumping up and down about Max's proposal...*shrug* thoughts on crazy clips for instrumental parts.

"Jump on that train" Jess jumping into the sleigh, or Rory getting on the NY bus. "Grab hold of them reins" could be the Lorelai and Rory's carriage ride, or Taylor on the horse, re-enacting the "woman of questionable morals" scene OR Rory grabbing the steering wheel from Jess...that's probably the best one.

"All for one and one for all, y'all" if you wanted to get ironic, you could do either the "wedding" picture where Lorelai's viciously whispering "You and me, we're done!" or the Friday Nights Are For Fighting swinging camera angle around the table, screaming at each other.

"Wide open throttle" Kirk crashing into the diner, "Coors in a bottle" Jess opening the keg, or Dean's bachelor hooting and hollering in...or Rory, Lane and Paris throwing back Miss Patty's punch.

"Bangin' on gongs and singin' our songs" Lorelai drumming on the table and singing the "we're goin' paintin' today" and singing "did you ever know that you're my hero?" to Rory.

"Live to ride and ride to live" Chris on his motorcycle and Rory and Jess no hands on the wheel and smiling at each other in Teach Me Tonight. "Guy named Elrod jammin' on an ipod" Michel demonstrating the dance moves he means to bust at Lane's wedding. The wedding pictures of Jackson in his Kilt, and the "gangster" looking ones of Lane & Zach.

"Raise up your hands," Lorelai and Sookie in the nosebleed seats at the Bangles concert, the crazed moms confronting Lorelai, Stars Hollow sports teams...

You should include the Bracebridge Dinner with Rune & Jackson, the Life and Death Brigade gang and Jess with Matt &Chris. Also, Miss Patty with her dance class, the ren faire crowd, the different bachelor/bachelorette parties, Mrs. Kim's family/friends, Richard and Emily's "cultured affairs," interaction between Lorelai, Sookie and Michel, town meeting stuff...Luke with Taylor and Kirk *evil grin* Or the Luke and Jess together rolling their eyes at the general craziness clips. Few ideas :D
